Our five-year,
10,000-hour apprenticeship program provides a combination of classroom
education and valuable on-the-job experience giving our graduates
licenses and certifications in the following disciplines:
- Medical
Gas. This program leads to certification as a medical gas
installer.
- Backflow
Prevention. Rigorous training prepares apprentices and journeymen
to become qualified as installers and backflow prevention assembly
technicians.
- Licensed
Journeymen. Certification and licensing programs cover plumbing,
HVAC, indoor air quality, refrigeration, power and process piping,
temperature control, boilers, oil and gas burning equipment, pneumatic
and hydraulic piping, testing and balancing, service, maintenance
and energy management.
- Certified
Welding. The UA welder certification program provides pre-tested,
certified and immediately-available journeymen welders and is
unmatched in the building and construction industry.
- Safety.
The COUNT safety program focuses on safety as an essential aspect
of performing superior work in the field including Standard First
Aid, CPR, OSHA10 and Built-Rite.
- Confined
Spaces. This training specializes in safe procedures for working
in confined spaces.
- CFC Freon
Recovery/EPA Compliance. Training in this area insures compliance
with EPA Clean Air Act amendments.
